Cementing Supervisor

Job Scope

  • Oversee the day to day operations and well cost requirement at Work Site.
  • Supervise mixing of mix water prior to cementing operation.
  • Mix and pump the cement slurry according to cementing program for each cement job.
  • Test and operate all cementing equipment prior to cement job in a manner to ensure successful execution.
  • Run, set/retrieve and refurbish cement retainers/bridge plugs and retrieval.
  • Conduct performance analysis and highlight problems immediately after each cement job.
  • Maintain and ensure that equipment is as per equipment list and in good operational condition.
  • Ensure that Cement Products are correctly handled when loaded and stored at the Work Site.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of the available stock of Cement Products at the Work Site.
  • Ensure all reports and job tickets are submitted and verified by the Client.
  • Review and advise Cementing Coordinator of Cement Products requirement for each well site.
  • Update Client Representative at Work Site of Cement Products inventory to support on-going jobs as per contract.
  • Advise Client Representative at Work Site on the amount of Cement Products to be ordered prior to each cementing job, in accordance to the cementing program.
  • Monitor and review with Client Representative at Work Site on the cost spending for each well / well section.
  • Maintain positive attitude and working relationship in supporting Client Representative at Work Site or other staffs with their operations. Ensure that the Quality and HSE Procedures are adhered at all time.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience as Cementing Supervisor for Operations from Tender, Jack-up, Semi-Sub and Fixed Platform.
